Hi;

I just got done installing the new PHP/Reinhart air box on my Marauder.

I have to say it adds a a very noticable amont of power to the car when coupled with Dennis's tune.

my car used to chirp going into 2nd gear (yes I like that)
Well...now it all out spinns the tires! and of course has a real nice growl too.

once again Dennis Reinhart Engineering comes through with a great product, and a fantastic tune to back it up.

I am one happy camper until I get Superchargedhttp://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=4#

it will take about 40 minutes, if you have enough nuts bolts and lockwasher laying around.

I needed hardware to connect the MAF to the air box.
otherwise all the hardware is there,
And when you take it out of the box and look at it, its not painted some nasty white, thats a protective coating (to be peeled off by end user) peel to reveal a pristeen stainless steel finish.

and again the combination of the air box and DR tune are fantastic !

Greg congratulations, your mods are very similar to what I had prior to "you know what" only difference is I had U/D's and you have gears.

What you have now is a very powerful sedan that can keep up with most things out on the road....when you take your next step, the intake and exhaust are going to serve you very well....:D

tells you how dumb I am. I was getting ready to go down to buy some DTR touch-up paint to cover that godawful white. Go buy some connecting bolts before you begin your install. It'll save some aggravation.

Got my PHP airbox on today cant say I notice any diffreence but Its only been on for an hour and one ride to Lidio`s.Tomorrow he is having a dyno day and I will be putting it on dyno to see if there are any gains from when I had it dyno`ed in the spring.One thing though it sure sounds better :burnout:http://home.comcast.net/~hack_goby/00a.jpg

Paul, your intake looks beautiful man!!!!...:up:
I did a before and after on the PHP airbox, same day same dyno. The peaks did not change dramatically, but look at the torque curve around 3000 rpms.
