Future Competition for the Marauder?

Im not sure if this has been announced or not so I will just put it out there. What if ford uses the new 3 valve motor in the Crown Vic. Possibly even using the optional 06 mustang rims that look like the Marauders on the Crown Vic LX Sport. I see this as a possible scenario, it may be detuned a little from the specs of the mustang 3 valve but still this does not seem unlikely to me. Since most of the other high performance sedans coming out do outperform the Marauder stock vs stock. In a few years our biggest competition could be in house. So what are your thoughts on this?

That's an interesting scenario. I'd really like the option of a 300hp sedan without having to resort to something from the Chysler, Dodge, or dare I say Chevy store.

I hope you're right... I'd like to see a Ford version and a Mercury version, keep the price down on the Crown Vic and pump more goodies into the Marauder version.

Seems like a bolt up... lets hope they don't use all those motors in Mustangs & Explorers!
