Well now with my new schedule, I am off 4 days a week and having nothing to do but spend my free time and money on my baby. (what a shame right?) Anyways, last week I installed the Meg's delete tips (courtesy of Big Slim) and the car sounded louder and more aggressive. Today, I went back to the muffler shop and had them install the x-pipe along with eliminating the pre-cats and just going with the high flows instead and bumped the pipe up to 2 1/4". Let me just say the car is LOUD! I like the sound but have to drive it a little more and see if it breaks in and changes at all. At WOT it has a certain tone I am not sure if I like. Maybe that will change. By the way, Amerian Muffler in Westbury is a great shop for those on LI that might need a place to do your work. Highly recommend them.
Next I blacked out my chrome door trim with the blackout tape. That was a project. It took forever to get it right and trimmed correctly. Cheap mod and a great look. At this rate with all my time and money going into my car, I might be supercharged before you know it. Anyways I thank all of you for all your posts and insight and hope to keep on reading them for years to come. :beer:
