Here are some photoshoped pics of what a Cervini's mustang body kit might look like on a marauder... with a lot of fiberglass and modifications :)
And while I was at it, I made it a two door... if your going to dream, dream big.
enjoy

Can you photoshop the hood onto a Marauder in black?

I'm not sure if I like it. I think the side skirts fit way too low compared to the fron and rear bumpers. I do like the slits in the front and if those were add to the stock marauder bumpers I think that would look good. I also think the Front has too many lines for the roundness of the Marauder body. An 03 cobra style might fit a little better since it has those round bulges on the sides as a result of the fogs.

Dont know about the airdams ect but the black two door sure looks nice. Can you change the black two door from a formal roofline to a fastback? Thats the one they should have built IMO.

http://www.mercurymarauder.net/showcase/files/7/8/7/mercurymaruderfrontbumper01.jp g I WANT THIS HOOD! THIS IS THE HOOD OF A MARAUDER! Make it happen, I'll buy one, so will Zack. Who cares if he hasn't seen it yet...He'll buy one too, I just know it.
The rest of the body mods shown in this thread are very cool too, but I'm already 4.5" off the ground, and they wouldn't work.
but...I want the hood.

Mac as we all know nobody makes hoods for our cars, but we could make our own, using a junkyard crown vic hood and some fiberglass.
Champion Fiberglass makes a knock-off of Cervinis Mustang Stalker hood for $270.00 and a lift-off (race) version for $190.00 (which would better for our needs).
They charge between $95.00 and $120.00 for shipping depending on your zip code, sounds steep to me.
They call it a "99-04 3" Super Mach 1 Hood"

I do not know anything about this company, but it is rumored that they are "Cincinnati Composites*" under a new name.
I have not been able to confirm this, maybe someone here can find out for certain.
*Cincinnati Composites did not have the best reputation.
Let me know if you follow up on this.

Body kits never really did anything for me ... but there's something about that hood that's somewhat enticing ... but I can't quite seem to put my finger on it tho.

Since these "mods" would also fit the CV/GM/CVPI cars, perhaps if they are interested also, this could be brought to market?

Here is the closest to a fastback as I can get.
It is actually a 92-97 Crown Vic with updated body mods from the Marauder and the Stalker body kit.

Two doors, now you're talking. Great job.
Um, have you wondered what a '03-'04 Mach-1 hood scoop would look like on an MM? (hint, hint)

How about a group buy?

:P I think what looks nice is that this is a bigger car and the scoop intakes are more close to the front edge of the hood. I bet some sort of photoshop on an MM would indicate these would be pretty nice.

Interesting point about the scoops moving to the front edge. I also noticed the split between the two intakes... what if they were moved to the lower portion of the hood sort of behind the headlights? An alternate arrangement could be that the inside edges of the raised scoops would just seamlessly merge with the original raised portion of the factory hood.

Here's a quickie showing what I mean (possibly even moving the scoops further towards the headlamps):

This is the hood I really want for my Marauder. The ram-air hood is cool but I think it breaks up the lines of the Marauder. This Cobra Cowl with louvers keeps the round sexy lines we have come to love on our Marauders and just a tad of meaness added in. JMHO If someone built this hood I would buy it in a heartbeat :D

I kinda like that. I think a shaker hood would be pretty nice too.
The scoops further out on the last photoshop looks better than towards the center- makes the car look wider and would stand out against oem.
