Just to try to help save some fellow CT marauder owners some money! :D Tomorrow starts the new law, no cell phone use unless you have a handsfree kit. It also applies to no eating, drinking, or putting on makeup.
Its a $100 fine for each violation, so make sure to have your handfree kits by tomorrow!!!

I would have thought it was mandatory here in Fairfield Cnty to be yakking on a cellphone while causing undescribable havoc with a 6,000 lb SUV full of kids. I'm happy about the law - now for the enforcement/compliance part . . .

I live in the District and I wonder if it is possible to give a cop a ticket for driving while on the phone. Hey LEO's what do you guys say about this? Are you all above the law while on duty?

Actually the law excludes leo's and other "emergency" personal. They'll free to wreak havoc on the roads.
I guess donuts and cofee are here to stay, lol :P

Frank What about putting a cd in? or using an ipod? I think using an ipod is more of a distraction than the phone. Besides it's not the cell phone that causes the distraction it's the conversation.

There is a certain group down here in SC who cannot chew chewing gum and walk at the same time and simply driving is as much of a challenge as they can handle!!!! :mad2:
Add a CELL PHONE and you have a certain disaster brewing!!! :shake:
It really makes me mad when they end up in the left lane going 10-15 MPH below the limit yaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :censor:
CT now has a GOOD law....Hope they enforce it vigilantly!!!!

Well if enforcement is anything like NJ then it's a joke
I have noticed more cell phone users since NJ passed the law a year ago or more :help:
I agree and try not to use mine while driving :burnout:

89 red sho I think it woulda been a good race if he didn't have a good 5+ cars on me when he floored it, but damn marauders sound sick with exhaust work. This also was an older guy not a young kid that was driving the marauder
edit: and it was on a sunday during the day time I've seen him a few times before alsoIt could of been me. I'm out of Cheshire and run down rt 8 from time to time. Black with spoiler, tint and full Kooks system. But on second though...I never exceed the posted limit :)
