Stripes on a DTR?

If you guys were going to put racing stripes on a DTR Marauder, what color would you go with? I am considering either white or metallic silver. I have never seen anyone do a DTR, and am not sure what would look best. I have played around a little with Photoshop, but can't seem to get good enough results to post for opinions.

And. . . if you don't like the idea, I know it's Sunday, but I'm not looking for any sermons. . . . :beer:

That is what motivated me to consider the idea. I sort of agree with your logic about the silver too. White is not as subtle, but does stand out more.

Although stripes are not my taste, Navchap's car looks mean with them and I like them.

If I were to stripe mine, I think I'd go with the white. Maybe someone here that is good with photoshop can stripe a red MM in both colors.

I If may be so bold as to go back to a GM product, the 70 and 71 SS454 had black stripes with the dark red color.

I think Silver would both compliment the exterior and tie in with a Light Flint interior.

If you want to see a fantastic color combination find a picture of the 1969 Mach 1 with the flat black hood.

Hmmm...Clearly, Chrome has definite reflective characteristics. I suppose, if properly applied, perhaps one may see one's waxy grin whilst driving as well.

How about the "ghost style" of stripes. I've seen some killer flames done in that fashion and they're really cool.
