I have not had a chance to sit down till now and take the time and forethought to thank this club and its members for the support they have shown in the past few days. Last week I was in Seymour Indiana for the October feast, we had a very good time there, it gave my self and Sheila a chance to relax and spend time with my family. For the last six weeks we have been very busy and on the run.
I was very distressed over what has transpired here Monday and Tuesday, and that is putting it mildly. But, to those members that posted their support and sent the many PM's and e-mail's of encouragement, both Sheila and I thank you. This club and its members are why I am in business; you are friends as well as good customers.
I have grown from a one bay general repair shop to where we are now, and yes this is a learning process, I have made mistakes along the way, but I have learned from these and try not to make them again, as with any mail order business there are always shipping errors and/or delays, when this happens all I can do is explain the circumstance and ask what we can do to make this right. There also can be communication errors on the phone, the same thing can hold true when posting something on the Internet. It can be misread. I feel a few of you have done that.
I have received several negative emails as well as PM's today, so just so everyone knows; I, nor any other Vendor on this site had prior knowledge of what was to take place.
I spoke to all but one Vendor; on Tuesday while I was very upset and having no idea why this was being done.
This is one of the best sites around, and it's because of you the members and Logan, Mary and Dan. They do the very best they can and are as fair and impartial as anyone can be in their position. So again, from both myself and Sheila and my employees, thank you all for your support and kind words. We look forward to seeing you and helping you in any way we can in the future.

Dennis:
Rest assured that those of us who know you, already knew everything you just said, and we didn't lose faith in you.
I worked in the public sector for almost 20 years and I know you can't please everyone all the time...it's just the way things are...that fact doesn't make it any easier when you KNOW you've done a good job, and someone STILL isn't happy with you. C'est la guerre...
I also know Logan won't be offended when I say I'm glad this whole episode turned out to be an experiment in social engineering that went sadly wrong...and I'm glad one of our highly valued vendors, not to mention a personal friend, didn't get blown away in the process.
Welcome back, my friend.

Dennis,
It is us who are thanking you for having been a great vendor to do business with, as are other vendors on this site. It's OK for people to be dissatisfied with business they have conducted, like it's OK to be satisfied too. The distinction is how some behave in resolving their anger. Sometimes it is impossible to understand why some people's behavior is so evil and nasty, but those a'holes are a fact of life-we all encounter them every day in different ways, and we must learn to live with them. Who knows what drives such transparent negativity in some people, but maybe it is pity and sorrow we should be expressing for them and for the darkness and anger that resides in them. Is it much different than an illness? Regardless, 99.99+% of us like you and like doing business with you. Maybe that is reason enough for you to stick with us here.
Thanks,
Howard

Now that the experiment's rude interruption is over and your back onboard the flagship, you did get my PM that I received all eight of the Denso's in two shipments, right?
Just kidding, I know you did.

Daytona 1976 :
David Pearson drops back and let's Richard petty slip by on the last lap of the Daytona 500. Petty takes the lead, but Pearson is on his ass drafting .
In turn four, Pearson makes his move , Petty slides up and they touch, sending both into spins, .
Petty stalls and Pearson with a cripled race car manages to keep it fired and limps across the finish line at 45 mph to win the Daytona 500.
When asked how he felt about being left sitting in a helpless race car only yards from the finish ,seeing Pearson win the race, but unable to move , Petty says
" Well, I wasn't exactly yellin YA-Hoo "
Well guess what , it's time to yell YA-HOO now, Dennis welcome back, and like my Daddy said
" Consider the source " when it comes to some of the dumb comments made.
I'm still the Baddest MM in N.S. , thanks to you. :burnout:

Thanks for arranging the recent group buy PHP intake kits that wouldn't have worked if you hadn't fought to let a few more be made for us.
If you ever realize you need some time to enjoy the rest of life don't read past this point. The rest is my Rocky Balboa speech:
If you pull a stunt like this again I'm just gonna drink until it it doesn't hurt anymore.
I didn't know if I liked the idea of anyone leaving; especially anyone who tells us what our cars can do. I had never heard any of that stuff before yesterday and it got me all worked up soaking it all in at once. I can only say if I was going to go guns firing. I also realized that this was not the place you were criticizing but where we all were to listen. Of what was described, the critics took it to a place where no one wanted to be held accountable.
I think this only needed a Stage One kit.
Stage 1: this post
Stage 2: send you a looped cd of 'Eye of the Tiger'
Stage 3: learn to hack
Thank you Dennis for everything. What you do makes a lot of good folks love this car that much more.
On another note, I thought I'd share some sites I've discovered lately. Microsoft has had one of these sites' owners talk to employees on the abstract creativity these sites promote. I just thought I'd share them to see if anyone is as curious as I was.

Thanks for clearing that part up Dennis. I did not believe at all that you knew what was going on, or anything about the 'experiment'. I was confused by Logans comment, which to me indicated that you were part of it.
I'm glad to see you are back here!

Thank you Dennis!
I owe you for the fun you have facilitated me having!
In my ute it was not possible for me to have a real muscle car, althoug I worked on friends muscle cars.
You have given me a second childhood, enabled me to make hundreds of friends at tracks, gas stations, Walmart parking lots etc. Enabled me to blow off steam and restored my faith in humanity after seeing the destruction from Katrina and Rita.
Thank you Dennis! :bows:

I believe that there is no real reason to let you go as a vendor of this site. You are the one who started modifying MMs when others turned their back to it. Plus, you have too many friends here to just up and leave on.

Glad to see you didn't pull the plug. I really enjoyed meeting you and Sheila at Indy and have been quite happy with my bussiness dealings with you.
It's been a while but at MMville II we ordered a lot of stuff, some we took home with us, some we had you ship. If I remember correctly, you were in the process of moving to the new location or remodeling or something like that at the time.
Once we got home, we decided that one radar detector was enough, and would rather get the 2nd set of 4.10's and some other things that came up to over $100 more than the radar detector cost.
Dennis swapped out the parts and we got everything we wanted, but didn't get the bill for what we owed. At first I figured that he billed my credit card. When the charges didn't show up I called Dennis. In his mind I had already paid for everything. It took about a week to get it figured out, but had I been less than honest, I could have gotten over on the man.
The point I want to make is that based on my experience Dennis is not a thief or a cheat by any strech of the imagination.

You are correct! In the grand scheme it just a ride. To me it was worth every mile. There are no words to express the feeling when you arrive and see old and new friends gather for a party Marauder style. I feel for the ones that do not get the chance to do it. It can be local or long distance. Point here is get out and meet your board buddy. The web site is only a very, very small part of the equation. Fire it up and let it roll. I promise you one thing my friends you will never ever regret it. Not one mile, not one minute, not one smile. God Bless the U.S.A.
Now go out and chew some highway:burnout:

I didn't get to see any of the "darkside" nonsnese and I am glad. It is sad that some people feel compelled to bash others. Even more sad when they bash those who act as hosts and help to provide the privilege of having such an informative site. I don't understand such behavior. But in the end, good sense prevails and the support of good customers never waivers. Thanks for all you do Dennis.
