What is the best way to clean the little wire in the MAFS??? :confused:
I used some tuner cleaner and it is acting funny??!!
What about carb cleaner....a Q-tip?? :bows:

Head over to Radio Shack or a Computer Store and get the Spary Electrical Cleaner, Just spray it on, Let it Air Dry then Reinstall the MAF
Good As New!!

jack, I don't think tuner cleaner is recommended. You *may* have damaged it. Electrical contact cleaner that leaves no residue is OK, but using throttle body cleaner, or a carb cleaner that specifically states it's safe for throttle bodies is better. BE VERY CAREFUL if using a Q-tip...those hot-wire sensors are VERY delicate.
Why are you cleaning the MAF? Under normal circumstances, unless your filter is defective, it shouldn't need cleaning...Do you use a K&N filter?
