View Full Version : In Motor City Tues. Oct. 25th

Hey Motor City guys. Just wanted to drop y'all a line and let you know that I'll be at Alternative Auto for a race fuel tune on Oct. Tuesday the 25th with another friend from G.R., (also getting a tune). We'll be there at 9:00 AM, and then plan on heading to Capers for lunch after. I know most of you will be working on a Tues. morning, but if you'd like to join us for lunch I'd love to see you guys.
Come on Paul, I know you can't pass up a great steak. :)

Hope to see some of you....

I can't make lunch but glad your getting work done at Lidio;s.

I'm still debating my next low budget mod. If there is such a thing.

Sorry I can't ake the lunch date. I'll be on the other side of town for work.

Dave great to hear from you.Yes I can do lunch seeing that Im working afternoons now. Hell I dont have a life right now I will even come up and hang out at Lidio`s :D

Hey J.B! Well, I'll be heading to Capers when Lidio is done with our tunes, (I'm bringing a friend and his Taurus SHO). I can give you a call when we're done, if you like. :) I'd love to talk to you about Trilogy #1.
But to try to answer your question more specifically... We'll be at Alternative Auto at 9am, so depending on what needs to be done, it should be around lunchtime when Lidio and crew are through... (I hope Lidio can make it too!).
Anyway, I'm sure one of the MCM crew will be calling you tomorrow. :)

I am thrilled to report the incredible job Lidio did yesterday with my new race fuel tune! I picked up an additional 35 RWHP and 18.7 RWT, (see my updated signature below)! Not only that but, as usual, the brilliance of Lidio manifested itself once again as he makes it super-easy to switch tune programs, (from 93 octance to 100 and back) with just a flip of a switch. :coolman: It can't get any easier than that! :D I won't give away Lidio's tuning secrets with too much detail, but I can tell you all that it is well worth the trip and the money. I drove all the way home to the west side of Mi. on the race tune and I can tell you it rocks!

It was great seeing Paul and Dan there! Thanks guys for coming out. :)
Paul brought me up to speed on his latest mods and told me stories about MVIII that I unfortunately missed. I would have liked to have been in that huge Marauder convoy headed to Milan! :D
Then, later at Capers, (home of the best steak I've ever eaten) Dan was a riot. Dan, I had no idea you are such a movie buff! That was fun.

All in all, it was a vacation day very well spent. I just wish I could do it more often.

Thanks again to Paul and Dan, and a special thanks to Lidio whose innovative ideas always keep me coming back for more!

I'm headed to the local track at Martin on Sat. 29th to run with the new tune. My goal is to make 12.5 ET or better. :eek: I can't wait.
I'll post my results when I get home.

Dave ,Had a great time hanging with you and your friends yesterday.Its always fun to see Lidio make his customer's happy and Capers just speaks for itself.
