I wanted to ask all of you if a standard mustang cobra supercharger will fit on our marauders
Thanks in advance:D

No, it will not fit.

The air inlet ducting come in from the opposite side.

I think it is possible but you would need so many other parts than just the blower, plus custom fabrication since the intake is facing the other side. Once you add up all the cost it would most likely be cheaper to just buy a kit. Unless you have a wrecked cobra at your disposal but at that point you might as well just swap the entire motor so you have a nice solid bottom end.

Would we be able to drop in the whole engine

Yes, but you must move the battery to make room for the Cobra engine's passenger side intake system.
Then you have to reroute the throttle cable assembly and the MAF wiring and the main fuse/breaker boxes......
It can, and has been done, but "it aint easy!"

Who cares if the intake faces the other side...your telling me a JLT cannot be used on the other side? Move the battery too. I too wonder why a cobra blower cannot be used, surely a used cobra blower must be cheaper than a Trilogy. What are we missing, A chip? Injectors? Belt?

I think that the S/C Cobra DOHC has a completely different serpentine belt drive system. So it's not as simple as bolting on the Cobra's S/C to a Marauder engine.

Excuse how dumb I am. There, that said I can get away with a lot. Does the water flow in the opposite direction on a 4v Cobra than it does in a 4v Mach1 Engine? Or am I missing the point?

The bigest problem is the Cobra Supercharger sits too far back on the intake.
That puts the blower into the firewall area.

I have seen my car sitting next to my buddy's Cobra. It appears the snout is longer on the Trilogy than on the Cobra's.

Things that you would need...

Heat exchanger
Lower intake manifold
Supercharger with Intercooler
Intercooler reservoir
Intercooler pump
Necessary hoses to connect the above
Necessary wiring connections to connect the pump
Alternator relocation brackets, pulley.
Alternator wiring harness extension.

Then you look at what was posted originally about wiring, MAF, throttle and firewall clearance.

I am sure that if you are very good with fabrication and modification you could make all this work. Might even be able to do so for a "resonable" price depending on your source for parts.

I, however, am not that talented. I opted for the Triology kit and got a well engineered kit complete with instructions that goes on the motor like a factory installation. A little fuss, no real muss, and everything works fine.
Yes it costs a little bit... but there is absolutely NO Mickey Mouse engineering involved.

I know a guy who has dropped a Cobra long block into his Marauder. Can it be done? Obviously. But, lemme tell ya folks, it ain't pretty. You can plan on notching the frame, and cutting half a foot out of the cowl panel to bolt it in. Then the fabrication starts. I've seen this car a few times now-the guy goes to the same track I go to. Don't get me wrong-it's fast as hell. But it's light-years easier and far cheaper to get a Trilogy.

THANK YOU! That was the point that I was trying to make....WHY bother with all the adaptation problems...If you want a roots S/C, buy a Trilogy and be done with it.

No, my point is that the alternator and other accessories need to be relocated and the correct brackets must be used as 'AzMarauder' stated. The 'low mounted' alternator might not even clear the Marauder's frame.
Go buy a used Mustang Cobra S/C on Ebay cheap and when it is all installed AND running, let us know how much cheaper the total install was vs. a Trilogy KIT.
