I need to make room in the garage for one and possibly 2 more cars. I am looking into getting one or two hydrolic 4 post drive on lifts for my garage so my 3 1/2 garage can hold 5 cars....anyone with input?

There are quite a few choices out there these days. Do an internet search, and lots of comparison.
I'd say get one that will also serve as a service hoist. Some are just for 'overhead' parking.

Do you have the ceiling height?

We've got two hoists in our barn, I think they are made by Mohawk? I'll have to double check. They are red. I also don't know if they make four post hoists for storage, but their product is very nice and durable and we use ours a lot daily with zero problems in three years.

Why Hydraulic ?
There are electric screw type lifts that are safer
and require less maintenance.

If I had your money, I would burn mine and then buy a Rotary lift. Best in the business.

John (TooManyFords) has a lift from his old garage he is looking to part with - and a nice one at that. He no longer has the ceiling height. I cannot tell you brand name, but my car was up on it several times and it is in great condition IIRC.

Sold it last weekend Andrew! Thanks for thinking of me though.
;)

I'm going with a 4-post for my next one too.
