I gotta know where the outside tempertaure censor is because I think it's dirty. I could see my breath last week and the car said it was 60 out there. :bs: Also I was in a blown Marauder and no matter how cold it was it always said it was at lease 123 outside. So does anyone know where this is?

The owners manual says that to get a accurate reading the car should be moving. My guess it's in between the radiator support and the front grill. Some earlier FoMoCo products had a sensor at the base of the drivers side rear view mirror.

I think that is where it is. When I had the radiator support cover off to remove the headlights, I remember seeing something up there that I thought was the sensor for that.
On a similiar note, does anyone know where the sensor is at for the automatic lights?

Motorhead350,
The outside temp. sensor is on the plastic crossbar in
front of the radiator on the drivers side behind the front
grill. Lift up the plastic facia (3 hold down plugs-do not pull hard
as these can brake as well as the facia-pull plug ctr. up
first 1/8" then pull plug base up and the plug will come up)
over the radiator and you will see it. It should read the reg. outside
temp. when you are moving. However when stopped and
engine area air gets to it the temp will be higher.

See the winking red light on top of your dash? It's in there.

I kind of thought that was where it would be. Especially since with the tinted windows if I am going one way at a certain time of day the headlights will not come on, but going the other direction where a shadow from the windows can fall on there, they will come on.
Thanks for answering that question.

The supercharged car had the sensor moved to the air inlet tube after the supercharger.
I think Dennis does this on his stuff.

It is really under the seat cover. No, seriously. Ya ever wonder how it can be 20* outside and you rip a big one, and it spikes to 95*
Solved. Right there. BAM!
