Just returned to Central Florida from a trip up to Western New York State.
Took my wifes Continental. Much more comfortable than the MM. When I travel alone, I take the MM. When we travel together, we take the Continental.
1. I saw NO MM's on the whole trip.
2. The Continental with the 4.7 InTech Engine averaged 27mpg. Low of 26 and high of 28. (All at between 73 and 80mph). Last trip with the MM only got an average of 22mpg. For some strange reason, I always get better milage in the Northern States. No idea why.
3. Saw a few Black CV's. (Not CVPI) All driven by old guys. (even older than me <g>) From a distance, I thought they were MM's, but when I got close up, I saw what they were.
4. Saw (Unmarked) Dodge Intrepids used by Hwy Patrol in South Carolina.
5. Saw Black (Unmarked) CVPI's in either SC or GA. (Forget which).
6. Saw a Beautiful Dark Tan (Unmarked) CVPI in SC/GA. This car was too beautiful for police duty.
Glad to be back. Will take the MM out tomorrow morning. Also taking the Wing to Daytona Biketoberfest on Saturday, as long as Hurricane Wilma stays away.
