Will someone please post the link to Carfizes alignment specs? Somehow I missed that one and want to save it to a file.

Thanks,

Dan

Look under Reviews! ;) That's where we save them.

Tallboy,

Thanks for answering my question.

Has anyone experienced other beneifits besides better tire wear? Perhaps better handling or other ride improvements?

It seems to me that this solution provides better wear but would soften the "feel" in terms of responsiveness to cornering. Is that correct?

Best,

Dan

No problem. I got more time than Morris Day.

I have noticed no reduction in cornering ability, or feel. My tires are wearing dead-even now at 22K. I had Carfixer align it at 11K. No problems since, tracks arrow-straight.

Tallboy,

Thanks for answering my question.

Dan, I thought you'd like to know where the specs are kept so you know where to find them the next time. You're welcome.

These are the specs that give good tire wear. They will affect handling in a negative way but you'd have to be an experienced road racer to notice the difference in handling.

What I noticed more was the way the car handles those painted lines on older roads that are raised up 1/2".

At first I had my camber set to zero and man it was bad! Those lines seemed to grab the car and pull it hard onto the line and not want to get off it.

I've since adjusted it to -0.3 and it's better, still dives some but not as bad.

Shoot for -0.3 camber, both sides.

Thanks, Bunny! I was wondering where those things were saved! I keep dragging bookmarks off to the desktop when I see something I like, but it's inevitable that I throw the links away while housecleaning.

Mary,

Please clarify for me. It seems like there is a note of sensitivity in your post. Are you being sarcastic or am I reading it the wrong way?

DanI'd be glad to clarify. Yes, I did not answer your specific question to provide a link, I offered you the way to get to the link. Yes, Tallboy answered your specific question by providing you the link, not showing you and others where to find it. Yes, there was a note of sensitivity in my post.

Mary,

Thank you for making that clear to me. I guess I am left wondering why you didn't ask if I intentionally left you out or whether it was an oversight on my part (which it was). I think that gathering more information would have served you by allaying any feelings of insult that you had.

Anyway, thanks for being helpful and for your volunteer efforts on this board. They are noticed and appreciated, even if we don't make it a point to say it a lot. :)

Best,

Dan
