Ladies & Gentlemen,

Last week I had to pleasure of having Lowell installed a Pioneer GPS Navigation Unit w/ XM Satellite Radio & Nav Traffic in my 2004 MM.

Indeed I must admit that I have enjoyed every trip I have taken so far even to the corner store!

When his company i.e. (The Other Guys) finished working on my car, I set the destination route from Saginaw back to Detroit. Boy oh boy was I amazed at what this unit could do!

For a complete description regarding this unit, plese review the link below.

FYI Lowell and his staff did an EXCELLENT JOB on my car and the unit looks very professional.

Did you go with the AVIC D1 or D2?

And if you don't mind me asking, how much did the whole setup cost installed?

I went w/ the AVIC-D1 and the TC was $1,600.00. I had a new six player CD Changer installed because the OEM unit will not work w/ the aftermarket Nav unit.

Wow, that unit is impressive. Any speaker or other system upgrades with the head unit?

Dave,

Yes indeed you can upgrade the speakers but since I'm getting older now (Smile), I don't really care for all of that loud music. My factory speakers are perfect for me.

FYI I played w/ it this afternoon w/ out any interruptions and added my favorite routes, programmed my favorite radio stations and set my custom perferences.

It's hard to believe that I went this long w/out one. For here on, I will ALWAYS have a Nav unit in my car. My 93 Mustang is next after I have Lidio do some other work for me first.

Fastblackmerc,

Unfortunately it doesn't cook breakfast but it will tell you what resturants are available in your area! Also it will give you similar information regarding ATM Machines, Hospitals, Rental Car Agencies & so many others.

This unit is awesome!
