It would have been fun the kick some Cadillac a$$. But you have to admire another group of folks who are taking some larger four door cars and having some fun with them.

Forget about those CTS/STS LS-whatever small blocks cars - the ones you have to watch out for are the oldtimer 472's and 500's stroked out to 529 or 540 cu in. which weigh just about what a sb chev weighs- built with forged internatls, single plane intakes (or crazy tunnel ram's), bulldog alum heads, roller cams, shaft roller rockers, 11:1 c.r. and a carb or two the size of a valve flush american standard.
I've seen a tubbed early 70's Coupe Deville with a stroked 472 weighing 4,700 lbs running way low 11's in August all on the engine - with a cruising gear in the rearend.. Big block caddy engines are strong, light and the definition of torque - way underated as far as their performance potential goes.
I recently wrote a e-mail to the sponcer of this event, this is what he said;
Hello Mark,
*
I am sorry to tell you that Moore Motorsports has been shut down. Damian and Me are no longer at Moore Cadillac since this past Monday. We are looking to start a similar project soon just not involved with Moore Company anymore.
*
Having said that we won't be making it to Englishtown this weekend. It will still be a great event and would still recommend for you to show up and test your car out at the strip.
*
Sincerely,
