I have heard great thing from the people who bought the xcal2 from The

Dr. and from Alternative Auto Etc. I was interested in buying one but I

currently have my warranty in affect. (I'm at 17,000 and have to 55,000)

My question is, is it possible to uninstall, so the dealer will not know it was

there? Or do you recommend not buying one until the warranty is up? I can

hardly change my oil, so Im afraid to buy one anyway, do to I'm mechanically

inclined. But if its possible to uninstall it and install easily it then Im in the

clear. Thanks for any help.

Best, Mike.

Dude, as the Nike commercial said: "Do it. Do it, DO IT!"

If you need to bring the car in for service, just reload the stock program, which is saved in the tuner when you load the performance program into your PCM. It's wicked simple. The dealer will never know.

If you need a hand with it, or with changing your oil, just come on down to the Cape and me & the Bunny Lady will take care of you!

Mike,

As RF said; You gotta' do it!

I have 9,200 miles on my DTR with 75,000 premium care and have Lidio's tune in mine.

A trip to the Dealer after re-loading the stock program (5 min. max) they will never know it was there.

After the dealer visit and another 5 minutes loading the tune, . .

Bawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Mike.

You can always do as they say above, however some dealers are mod friendly and you may not have to. Check with the service manager.
If I can install the xcal anybody can. :burnout:

The beauty of the flash tool is you can return the car back to stock before taking it in for any work, also it does not compromise the EEC seal as when you install a chip.
