View Full Version : Another MM on TV - Silver this time!!!!

I was just watching some show on the Travel channel about million dollar motorhomes. They had been looking at some of the Nascar driver's coaches, and they pulled back to give a shot of all the coaches in the infield of one of the races, and there in the middle somewhere was a silver MM!!! I would have never been sure if I didn't have DVR with my Dish Network. Being able to go back and look frame by frame paid off again.

Slow news day, huh?

Depending on when the show was done, it had been reported that Benny Parsons had been driving a Marauder for a while.

Afriend reported seeing a silver, and a couple of Black at one of the Roush shops earlier this year.

Benny Parson's MM is black. He had one of the first Marauders sold.

The silver one at Roush may have been mine. Roush's headquarters are about 3 miles from my house and I go there quite often. I've seen the black one there several times.

Wasn't BP driving one in the SpeedVision special on the Marauder? I haven't watched my DVD for a while, but I thought he was the other one in there. If so, he used to race one of the original Marauders on hill climbs, etc.

I believe that was Tommy Kendall.

Pretty sure that it was Parnelli Jones in the Speed DVD special on the Marauder. He is also the guy who did the Pike's Peak Hill Climb with a Marauder back in 1963. :D

So when are we gonna have a Marauder Day at Lowe's Motor Speedway?? :rolleyes:

Yeah, that is who it was. Tommy Kendall was the main guy as he does that show for SpeedVision on new car reviews. But it was PJ that he had on as a guest driver and evaluator.

Name the time. I live less than 2 miles from the Speedway. The Carolina Marauders have shown our MM's 3 or 4 times at the Speedway during the Auto Fair.
