Ok about two weeks ago I warned all the Marauder owners from San Antonio to So.Cal. to be on the lookout for me.
Well over the course of 3028 miles I didn't see one other Marauder! This brings the total of Marauders I've seen on the road besides mine to 1 ,still.
Heres the stats for our little drive:
Total miles 3028 miles
Total fuel used 141.72 gals
average MPG 21.47 (note last fill up after the 3028 miles to 3043 miles)
Worst MPG 18.81
Best MPG 24.07!
Being the cheap skate I am I ran regular unleaded so I only paid a max of $2.09 for gas.
I ran mostly in the 70-85 MPH range no full throttle and I did not exceed 3000RPM the entire trip!
Notes from the road:
This car eats miles with ease,if you haven't road tripped this thing do it!
After about 2 hours with the cruise set at 85 I was closing in on a SHO ,which then sped up and would not let me pass! When I got up beside I noticed the driver was a LITTLE old lady! She smiled and waved as I motored off at about 100!Note this was with prem in the tank as it was still before my first fill up.
The only thumbs up I got was stuck in traffic on the 405,when a lane splitting Harley V Rod went by.
Bad thing:
On the way out of AZ something came off or from under an 18 wheeler and NAILED the windshield! PMO!!
More later.
