Just what is a chicken run in this context. I was under the impression it was a head on run at another car until one or both turned away, "chickened out".

Apparently this is no longer the case, so what is the meaning?

Thats playing chicken.

A chicken run is when a chicken is hidden in a location, and a bunch of cars are given clues on where to find it. Sort of like a scavenger hunt. Of course, this is a timed event, so even if your not very good at finding clues, having a fast car helps. (Having a chicken in the passenger compartment is not good, I highly suggest putting it in the trunk.)

Prizes, are given at the end, badgeless grilles, etc.

For the uninitiated, a Chicken Run is when the Widy City Marauders get together at a chicken joint outside of Chicago and check out each others cars.

Hey Lynn, how are you doing. I saw your MM going down Elm street in Syco back on the evening of October 7th. I was at the Vets Club for a retirement party for a Sycamore Fireman. Hope all is well.

oh man.... I completely forgot about this until 30 minutes ago when my Treo went off and reminded me! I can't make it; wish I could.
