Hi,
I just saw this on another forum and was wondering if there might be some interest from our group? I know some are going up to the SSH event, but this might be a good in-between for the rest of us?

Also, does anyone know the status of the Tower Shoppes? I heard there was a good bit of damage up that way, so I don't know what impact it will have on our meets.

I actually joined the SVTOA treasure coast chapter recently. I was at Moroso and a guy from the group was approaching all the ford guys with pamphlets (like mormon missionaries) and recruiting new members. I thought it was the last Saturday of the month....is this a special event? They also have a place in Stuart that does Dyno Tuning and is going to be doing a Dyno Tune day. MacDonald Motorsports I believe the name is....but if its this Saturday, Ill be there. Anybody else want to come?

I know that FEMA has been using the Tower Shop's Parking area for water & ice drop off's. I'll ask Ghost03 what's going on, he lives only about 1/4 mile away. If the weather isn't bad on friday I'll take a ride over their to check it out. Buy the way how far is Fort Pierce from lets say the Tower Shop's ?

Well, it takes me about 1h 40mins to get from my house to St.Lucie (which is right next to Ft Pierce), and about 30 minutes to get from my house to Tower Shoppes, so I'd say about 1 hour north, give or take.

the Tower Shops suffered some damage but mostly the trees throughout the plaza. No damage to the roads or shops...well some shops but for the most part im sure it will be buisness as usual as far as the friday car show. Ill be there, I gotta get over my case of cabin fever....
