Whenever I wash my car using the "Touchless" High Pressure Wash, the outside temperature reading is no longer correct, until it dries out. I have looked in front of the radiator for the outside air temperature sensor, but darn if I can find it. I want to cover it when I use this method of washing.

Can anyone tell me where it is located?

behind the front bumper in front of the radiator..there
is a cross bar and it will be black with a small pointed nub
at the top it is tie wrapped to the bar near the center slightly
more to the drivers side..it has never been very acurate..

This sensor is very slow acting.
And it is sealed, very well.
The temperature of the water in undoubtely affecting the reading on your dashboard. Since it is a pain in the neck to get to, covering it would be kind of silly. It is functionong just fine, id leave it alone.
