Has anyone ran the Kumho?...are they any good?...good reviews at tirerack...can you run 255s back and front on regular non widened rims?...I am running 245s all way around right now, BFGs...do not like the wear on the BFGs so going to something else next tire change...also would like a wider tire...any info would be appreciated...thanks up front...willie

No first hand experience with these tires, but they were my first choice back when I had my CV and was shopping for tires to put on the aftermarket 18" wheels I had. I was going by tirerack's reviews plus others that I found on the 'net. Could be a good alternative to our stockers.

I switched from the BFG's to the Kuhmo's on my 'stang. Nite and day. The kuhmos rode, handled, and stopped better. If I could get them in 255-50, I would have them on the MM now.

I have switched to Nitto NT-555's and am very pleased with the ride, handling, and so far the wear. The tread design is nice and grip seems very good!!

They are 1" less in diameter up front and 1.5" less in back....Gives me effectively..3.73:1 gears and it is noticeable!!

I have about 2K miles on them and so far no signs of wear at all......I spun the rears for the first time yesterday!! Seems to me they hook better than the BFG's??

PS: One more thing.....NO MORE PARASITIC STEERING WHEEL SHIMMY LIKE I HAD WITH ALL OF THE BFG'S!!!

I used Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s on my last car and loved them. No good in snow though.
