View Full Version : Mileage Survey

I'm about to roll 50K and was just wondering if anyone has rolled 100k or even higher at this point. I know at one point someone had a survey on here. Maybe someone who is more advanced that I am can do a survey as to how many of us fall into certain milage intervals. Would be neat to see how many have low milage and are keeping them that way and how many are at 100k or even higher.
Thanks.

Purchased in July 04 with 780 miles on it. As of today I have 33K. I'm heading to Ft Myers, FL this Friday (~1100 miles) - Getting married to Diane on Saturday the 26th. Heading to Dayton, OH on Sunday the 27th (business), with a overnighter just north of Atlanta (~1100 miles). Driving home to Southern Maryland on Saturday, the 3rd (~600). Spend one glorious day in Gods country and then drive to BWI (200 miles round trip) and fly to LA for the week. That should finsh off the warranty.

Fixes to date: Cracked inner exhaust baffle. Found during purchase inspection at the dealer. Replaced. Dealer also fixed mis-aligned shifter linkage during the same visit. It wasn't fully engaging park and would not start. Developed an exahaust rattle (fixed by dealer during an oil change visit) after about 6 months. Currently experiencing two annoying issues, first a squeak at low speed/parking, sounds like an unlubricated front end. Dealer could not duplicate/fix. I doesn't seem to be the hood levelers as others have experienced. Any ideas on the cause squeak (relating to the car only please) would be welcome. Next, there seems to be a short in the passengers power seat switch light. It continually blinks intermitantly when the lights are on.

Overall, it's a thrill to drive!

Just shy of 30,000 and loving every moment of it.

P.S. - It would be nice if the folks with say 60,000 miles or over inform the rest of us if they had any major work done. Anything prone to break on these fine automobiles? I'm hoping not.

Purchased just over 2 months ago with 5600 and now have just over 12,000 wonderful miles on it. I have had it to the track once, gone on 3 cruises, couple nights at the Cruise-In nights, and daily driven to work - about 100 miles round trip daily. Absolutely love the car, but at times think it is too nice to drive for the winter and put the number of miles on it that I do.

Mostly because I don't want to put to many miles on it before I can afford to do the supercharger!!!! :D

Oh yeah, no issues with the car so far that I would take it in for. The door locks do sound kind of weird when locking when the car is put in drive. Sounds like they are loose in there or something, but they have been working fine. Just sound weird.

I bought mine with 56 miles on the clock on March 13, 2003 and it now registers 18,536.
Mine had 54 miles on it when I drove it home on 4 October 2003. It is now sitting at 27,500. Replaced rear tires at 21,000. Front tires still fine. Transmission serviced at 20,000 vice the dealer recommended 30K interval. Sticking front windows fixed by aligning window guides. Driver window motor replaced. Erratic windshield wiper operation corrected by replacing wiper motor. All work done under warranty. :D

;) Purchased a little over a year ago with almost 15K on it, now sitting at 23K and it is driven every day. Only problems so far: axles replaced (previous owner), broken a/c, loose trim on driver's door and loose trim on trunk lid. Thanks to all on this site who have taught me what to look and listen for while enjoying the ride.

On the road 9-28-02...Just went over 30,000 on my way to the Long Island meet on Saturday 12/12/05:)

Probable one of the highest $$ warranty for L&M? My guess is $15,000 and still have warranty till 2009:):):)

Best road car L&M has to date!

Marauder is not my main ride as I have a '92 F-150

Bought used w/ 17k miles and now just shy of 41k miles after 23 months of ownership. Just turned 41 months old so I guess that's about average. A lot of those are highway miles though. :burnout:

Done at inspection: replaced fogged headlight and broken driver's side mirror glass, re-glued down the door trim carpet. After-purchase warranty repairs: replaced loose lower radiator hose clamp and re-torqued cam guide cap bolts for valve train chatter.
