The 2006 Ford Racing catalogue is out, you can view it here, or, download a .pdf version.
http://www.fordracingparts.com/download/catalogs.asp
Hardcopy is five bucks from any FRP dealer near you, and it's worth every cent. Why? Neat stuff, lots of neat stuff that will work on a Marauder, plus lots of tech stuff too.
Now, class, turn to page 27, and take note of a new addition to Ford Racing parts for 2006, specifically, part number M-1007-M188P...
Yep...Genuine polished Marauder wheels, the real deal, only with a Ford Racing centercap. 399 bucks, plus shipping and handling. That's a brand new factory fres polished Marauder wheel at or below a dealer's cost.
Though the specs read SAE, "6.295 inch" backspacing is the same as our 50mm offset, just measured from another direction.
No more hunting e-bay auctions when you need a replacement, no more compromising for a slightly blemished replacement in place of a trashed wheel.
Class dismissed.

On page 40, FRP actually mentions our Marauder!
"The Mercury Marauder was styled after the Bondurant school cars and became the Panther platform's top performing car with a 4.6L 4 valve engine".
This is remarkable to me, because back in 2004, I spoke with Jamie Allison, presently FRP's General manager, who said then "the Marauder will never appear in my catalogue, it's not a Ford." In the 2005 catalogue, FRP sells our Megs tips (with resonator), and they featured an honorable mention of Paul's High Performance custom built Street Stalker, a highly customized Marauder with a Cobra powertrain built for SEMA.
Maybe by 2007, FRP will figure out that we tend to spend a lot of money on mods...Maybe.

The online "Wheel Rack" has ours listed as "18" Truck Wheels". What The Truck?

Both the white Marauder and FRP are in the Detroit region. But...Turn to page 44-45, and you'll see two sets of bare 4V DOHC heads, the FR500 version and the Ford GT version, both will fit our engine. On page 45, individual valve assemblies, and a full kit, including new cams. I'm still reading...
and wondering if this thing has a centerfold...

Mac, I will bet if you ask Jerry Barnes he will tell you a good story about the FRP catalogue! I believe Jamie is one of the FRP folks that bet Jerry he wouldnt sell 20 Supercharger kits....Jamie lost...the other FRP guy bet Jerry that he wouldnt sell 25 kits! Needless to say Jerry ate well that week! Maybe Jerry impressed him, besides, I know that Jerry deals with FRP for a lot of parts for his various kits....just a thought....

Page 47 has two sets of DOHC valve covers, one simulated chrome plated, the other Ford Racing blue, (299.) along with two styles of coil covers we have seen here thanks to Kenny Brown and The Dealer (239. and 109. respectively).
Maybe y'all just need to download a catalogue?
All in all it's just another brick in the wall. :hide:

I found it amusing that right below the table of contents, there is a huge disclaimer that most of what they sell you has no warranty...period "AS IS".
I little below that they tell you that they "guarantee" their commitment to quality. I just found that funny....carry on......I'm easily amused.....confused....whateve r....:dunno:

Got one of those in the MVIII goodie bag. It's still a favorite in the easy reading section.
