 I can go only a couple more weeks on my front tires. The front end alignment is still at factory settings I believe. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get an alignment in So. Fla., where they won't scratch up my nice shiney rims?:D

AS far as the alignment goes I wouldn't be able to say who's good or bad. If your looking for a set of used tires is good shape TMAC1337 has a pair of fronts with alot of rubber on them he wanted to sell. He took them off too put on the KDW2's. He doesn't live far from you.

Carfixer knows the specs to make it quit eating the front tires.

Carfixer has the "correct" specs and the equipment to keep your wheels from being damaged.

Thanks for the tip but I already have tires. I was really looking for a good alignment shop.

How much of a ride from, lets say, Ft. Lauderdale?

The specs are not a secret, the question I would ask whomever is doing this for you: do you have the adapters that hold the targets to the TIRE instead of GRABBING the wheel.

The question you have to ask yourself is: How important is it that my wheels don't get damaged?.....:)

Sounds great, as long as they use due care for the rims, and is it possible on a saturday?

I had some of our other members get their alignments done on saturday. I just need to see when the one tech will around to do it. I will keep you posted per PM.

OK, I just got my new tires last nite and am looking for a local install and alignment. I have had great luck with the local Mastercare, but what do I ask for specifically as far as Targets and Adapters?

Can someone verify Carfixer's specs?

Camber 0-.3
Toe -0 Zero, Zero, Nada!
Caster 5-6.5 positive with .3 degree lead on right.

And how will this be affected if I do the 3/4 springy thingy at the same time?

It will still wear and ride the same with these specs?

TIA!!

Brian,
I am trying to buy a set of OEM springs and cut them down by 3/4 of a coil and just have them swap 'em when I do the tire mount. The tires I am getting will drop the whole car by .3" without affecting current suspension geometry. I hope the 3/4 coil will drop the body 3/4 and close the gap in the front wheel well. I hope the car can still be aligned with CF's specs.

BTW, I noticed you are going with the Bullit wheels and scorcher tires. What color and sizes?

Ths Bullitt wheels are stock Mustang color w/ "Blue striped" 245/45-17 tires.

Cool that will drop the front .75 " and the rear 1.4" and behave like having 3.90's!!!!:coolman:

Edit: She'll handle and ride like a different beast!

Get 'er done and take some pics!

I will after I get my chip retuned set up for 3.90s or get a SCT tuner.
