I heard the sound of metal hitting metal under my car starting two days ago. Upon checking it out, it appears that an emergency brake cable bracket has become loose.
Does anyone know what this is supposed to bolt too? I can't figure out where it should be. None of the holes line up.

Wonder if there is a safety based recall..it could have been
spot welded to the top of the frame..??

Spot welding is the only conclusion I can come too. I cannot find any bolt holes that line up.
Can anyone take a picture or take a look, so I can be sure? It is just under the driver's side floor, just above the transmission cross member.
I would just go to one of the dealers here, but the Ford shop insists that the Marauder is a completely custom vehicle, and they wont work on it (i.e. Built by Mercury, nothing like a CV/GM)(Which is fine with me, because they are idiots), and my L&M dealership wont touch my car due to mods (even stuff that has no relation to my mods).
