Thats just it I don't know if Cobra/New MACH1 Mustangs. well work or not.
Or is it an entirely new type engine as my Uncle who worked at the Walton Hills Stamping plant Has no diffenent answers. But all I got to say is wow!!!!! what a vehicle my 1st V8
Only driven it 15 miles on the test drive but tomorrow I'll diffenitly get a more general feel for it. But compaired to my dads truck its slower. But when you own a 2002 Lightning 80% of vehicles feel slow.

just using my small knowledge of these 4.6 4V engines, but wouldn't the addition of more aggressive cams hurt the motor's already weak low end torque for a car of this size?

the MM and mach 1 auto engine are identical. they differ from earlier naturally asperated cobras from the cams. the MM and mach 1 have the 5.4 truck cams that give more mid range power ( +20 hp at same rpm ) than the 4.6 cams that attained the same power but at 1,000 rpm's more.

jof, etc; i agree. The Cobra motor loves to rev, where it makes most of its power. The Cobra engine is well suited to its manual tranny application. I wouldn't thank you for the Cobra heads in the MM, since its auto tranny limits the upper rev range.

The Marauder, Mach1 and Cobra heads only are the same . The engins in the Marauder and Mach1 are the same. The part # for the heads are RF2C5E6C064-AF.

Living in Ohio has its privlages.
When ever my Dad gets his 2002 Lightning out of storage I'll post some pics like to get both nasty vehicles in a couple of them. Might be at Norwalk on Sunday April 6 see what this thing can do.
