Hey guys! My wife and I will be in Detroit on November 30th to pick up our MM. We should arrive in Detroit at around 7:50pm. We are staying at a LaQuinta close to the Detriot Metropolitan Airport. We would like to meet up with some of you local MM members and get to know you. If this would be possible, please let me know. Thanks!

That is so far from the airport. We should make it a place down that way.

Jeb, were you going to Lidios for tuning? How long will you be around?

I'm going to call Lidio this morning and see if he will be available for tuning. The plan is to run up to his shop on Thursday morning, try to go to the Ford Musuem on the way out. This depends on the weather there. We will only be in Michigan Wednesday night and Thursday. We will start back to TX sometime on Thursday. Thanks for the replys. I hope to meet some of you guys during our short stay.

If you can, please stop by at Trilogy in Dearborn, either day, if you can. We are not that far from Detroit Metro Airport and even closer to the Henry Ford Musuem.

Got back from Detroit Saturday at about 1:30. The MM is absolutely fabulous!! That is one of the best driving cars I have ever driven. I had to fight my wife for seat time. We had to cut our stay really short due to some health problems of my father and my wife’s niece having a baby. We also wanted to get out of Detroit before it started snowing (didn't make it). We drove all the way to Cincinnati in the snow. The traffic was horrible there. It took about an hour to get through. After that it was smooth sailing. We set the cruise on 80 and let her rip. After we got the car back in TX we had some fun on the winding back roads of southeast TX. The car runs a LOT better than I thought it would. I can hardly believe how hard it pulls from 90!! I did take the car to triple digits (with ease) just for a short distance. All in all the trip was good and the MM GREAT! I wish I had gotten to go to Lidios and Trilogy. Looks like I may have to take a trip back in the spring.

Jeb, I am glad you got your car safely. I was waiting for a call last week but now I understand why you didn't call. I hope your dad is doing well and congrats on the baby. You have my number. Anytime you make the trip back give me a call.
