View Full Version : Thanksgiving - Trilogy #110 Lives

Well, folks-another satisfied customer here in South Florida.:)
Somewhere deep in the swamps of Ft. Myers, at an undisclosed location, Trilogy #s 54, 71, and 104 bore silent witness to the creation of yet another Trilogy-equipped Monster. Even #69 stopped by and poked around the Lab for while. A great time was had in the Laboratory, and all the assistants, and even the patient, seemed to enjoy the transformation. This roving pack of Monsters, under the cover of darkness, exited the Lab with tire-liquifying authority, and headed North up I-75 to terrorize unsuspecting ricers and muscle-car wannabes.
So, watch out greater Tampa Bay area, there is another monster loose among you. :burnout:

To my list of things to give thanks for today please add:
3 friends whose labor of love is in my car. Carfixer, Tallboy, Shakes26. Thanks :bows:
A 7 hour install from hood pop to test drive with a break for pizza and accompanied with non-stop hilarity.
Forget the power, my car has never run better or been as smooth in normal driving. The only evidence of the Trilogy Kit in normal driving is how much the Trilogy chip has improved the drivability of the car over the SCT 9100 tune. The loud pedal is connected directly to the forces of HELL. I can only say AMAZING.
The install went smoothly, just as texted, and the results were perfect. No drips no runs no errors. My new boost gauge, pillar pod mounted with a great green illumination show 21 inches of vac. at idle. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY POUNDS OF BOOST as I have been to busy hanging on loving the experience to look, yet.
I had great instant service from Trilogy and I am thankful to all the folks there, especially Donna and R. and that guy that works for these young ladies but gets all the fun rides, Jerry something or other.
And lastly in this post, finally; I am thankful for the support and fellowship and new friends that I have found here at MM.Net.
Thanks you, everyone. Ride On! Dennis:beer:

Now that I had seen the pieces and pros put them together and run the car I say "no sweat on the 113. If I had another marauder I would buy it myself. Go for it VNMUS. Be sure to witness the install. It is at least as good as the results! I expected some buyers remorse after the purchase and before the install as I usually have some...but this time all I had was eager anticipation of the install. Man, was I right. Dennis:beer:

Dennis, we sure had a good time in the garage! The best part of the install is hanging with the guys that come by to watch and help (Actually, most watchers turn into helpers).
Who am I kidding, the best part is the road test!!:burnout: I think we ticked off the guy backing his trailer in. Oh well, he'll get over it!
After Trilogy#'s 54, 103 and 110 left their mark in front of the house last night (10PM), I heard the little girl across the street say to her dad, "I think that was the last one". I hollered across the fence "sorry about that and yes, it was the last one for tonight". He replied, "we're getting used to it". I took that as "keep it up, I enjoy it". At least the wind kept the tire smoke from filling his house up with smoke....this time.

Claude, It was a great experience, the entire day was fantastic. The highlights for me included not running over your mailbox! Thank you for the great time, with you and the guys, the neighbors, the CAR and the convoy up I 75. I wanted to go all the way to Detroit for the next Cruise. Home without a single concern. Let me know when the next one is.. Ill come down and get in the way again. :) Dennis
You guys have a safe trip to Mass. and be sure to say hi to all the Massh*les for me.

7-Hours....Awesome. I remember Brad's S/C install took atleast two days, three? I was like "Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go" :D Since it was the first time though, better to do it slow and to be 110% sure about every detail.
Congrats on the Trilogy!

Mary, of course. Besides Cape Cod doesn't count. Especially you:bows: . I'm from Maine and we all love Mass. folks Just to death. :) Just a wake up for the New England contingent. Interestingly the member Map shows exactly zero members from Maine. Perhaps it is the ice on the roads for 10 months a year. That and they aren't that good at hauling lobster traps or hay wagons. Would be a good Moose hunting vehicle, especially after 4pm when it is pitch black dark outside this time of year. My Mom says 4" of snow in the driveway this afternoon but the sun was out. I didn't ask about the temp. Only 75 here. I better go to bed before you zap me or worse I start having so much fun that I can't sleep. Dennis:beer: Thanks for the congrats.

 HI Dennis, Carfixer, Tallboy, & Shakes,
Glad to read that the install when wonderful :) , but I knew it would. Dennis, have fun with your new power now and be safe. :burnout: .
Tallboy, after reading your initial thread, the first thing I thought of was the movie "Young Frankenstein".....IT'S ALIVE, IT'S ALIVE.:baaa:.

Yeah Jason, mine took longer than seven hours.
But you got to admit ,when we finished, we had much fun tearing up the streets and parking lots.
Thanks for your support!:P
Way to go Southern contingent, you guys rock!
