I was just informed that my left side headlight is brighter than my right. When I looked at the lights, it appears that the right high beam is on. However, when I turn the high beams on, both lights have the same brightness. Has anybody else experienced this and if so, what was done to fix the problem

Have you replaced headlights lately? If only one was replaced that could be the problem. Bulb in upside down? I know that seems stupid but hey ya never know. Headlight could be outta adjustment. After my wreck the replacement headlamp wasn't properly adjusted. Didn't find out il Sun when i put my Silverstars in.

supose to alight whenever you swap out any headlight/fog light bulbs. thats why you have a million people behind you with that 1 low beam that aims directly at you in the side view mirror.

the headlights can be aimed slightly up and down with the turn of a nut. when i put hids it it made a huge difference weither or not they were adjusted. drive up a few feet to a straight wall and turn on your headlights. look to see that the lights are hitting the wall at about the same height. if they aren't adjust the nut. with one light at a different angle then the other it appears brighter.

simple.

the one that is brighter is probably aimed a little higher than the other one

dont know if this is possible but make sure they are both the same bulbs. we had the same problem at the bus company i work for and it turned out there was a different bulb in each headlight
