Well I guess Ill start the thread.
We are planning a Meet for the Woodbury Commons in Upstate NY.
BigDogJim said Dec 11th for a meet isnt good for him, Dec 4th is too short a notice and, The Next Saturday after that is the 17th. However, Is Saturday the best day for the meet or would a Sunday work for some people?
Im open for any date or time

Where's Woodbury Commons?
For the New Jersey Member's and those driving south from Connecticut or from further upstate NY- Exit 16 on I-87 New York State Thruway . when you go through the toll plaza , first exit on your right up the ramp to a traffic light . Green light make a left turn facing south on route 32 you will be driving over route 6-17 to the second light . continue driving south on route 32 about 250 feet staying to your left to the third light . make a left into the Woodbury Center plaza where you will see the UNOs Restarant . enter parking lot by the first left turn or the second left turn in the plaza . The map location at UNOs website has the location on the wrong side of route 6-17 . It is not in the Woodbury Commons , but south of it . if you are coming from route 6-17 eastbound toward I-87 get off at exit 131 which is the last exit on route 6-17 , up to the light , make a right on to route 32 and staying to your left to make the left turn into the Woodbury center plaza . and to cover all bases if your coming southbound on route 6 from over Bear Mountain , continue over I-87 and exit right onto route 32 , head northbound 150 feet to the first light , make a right into Woodbury Center plaza .

That's what I was thinking - Montgomery is a short run North. We could arrive in formation!

Count me in . . . Saturday, Dec. 17th, Uno's, Central Valley. Unless, of course, the roads are snowy, icy or real salty. Gotta keep M's feet clean.
I've never been to Woodbury Common the weekend before Xmas. I bet it's gonna be mobbed. That's rough, but I think I'm up to the task.
Plan for the 17th:
1. No snow, ice, etc.
2. Marauder meet at noon.
3. When the meet breaks up, head to the insanity at the Common.
4. Sleep late on Sunday.
See you in December.

My son Jonathan, is taking up just about all my spare weekend time
with his Chess Tournaments.
He has been doing really well.
So far, in the last 4 tournaments he has finished in the top 10 every time.
He has only played 13 games, but he has a rating of 296 in Primary Novice.
I may have another Bobby Fisher on my hands !!!

Well this little joke I made actually was the Case for this meet! 03silverstreak,Troopcar and Myself were the only Members who made it out for this meet.
It was a pity that the NorthEast Marauder Club couldn't pull together to have more then 3 Marauders in the parking lot.:alone:

Hey, at least we got to park together.
I'm glad I went. I always enjoy the meets and the company for this meet made it worthwhile for sure. Nice folks, cool cars.
We'll try again in January. Maybe at the Bennigans in Yonkers off the Saw Mill River Parkway (we haven't been there in a year or so and it's easy to get to). And then maybe Jersey in February?
Stay tuned.
In the meantime, Happy Holidays to all. Stay warm.

Just a Quick Question, Was my exit out of the parking lot as impressive as 03silverstreaks?
I heard his Exhaust howl as he pulled out but not sure if he pulled the same stunt maneuver as I did! :burnout:

Your exit was pretty cool and very loud and smokey right in front of me and therefore caused me to give a loud whoop or two which, of course, caused the folks in the parking lot to look at me like I was 12 years old. No sense of humor.
03Silverstreak's "performance" exit took place more as he was exiting the shopping center and in more of a traffic situation.
Both styles were very enjoyable to witness, but since yours was closer, it was more like the beginning of a Nascar victory lap, and 03Silverstreak's was more like the sound of passing three wide in traffic.
