Defyant Marauder at the track - Round 5.

Today I went to Cecil County Dragway to see if I could improve upon my personal best of 12.20. Track conditions were excellent. My best 1/4 mile run was an 11.986 @ 115.91 mph. :banana2: A new best time for this car and driver!

I made all my runs with 1/2 tank of 93 octane, head light in, mirrors out and junk in the trunk. I had intended to pull the head light, but forgot the tools. Timeslip is posted below. I am car 426.

Holy *****! Lets get this right, you did this with a Trilogy, 3.0 pulley, Kooks, DR's and 410's? On pump gas!! Your car is freaking awesome! As far as I know, your car is the only Trilogy running a 3.0 pulley that has run in 11's.

All I can say is WOW.

Thanks everyone. Most runs were 12.0xx. I was round and round with a Grand National. I'd get him by a 10th, he'd get me by a 10th. I have the slips... I'll get em up.

Nice runs Charlie! My wife Heather was stuck at 11.9's for a while in her 87 TType, until she finally got things worked out a bit, and hit 11.8's. It was a good day indeed. I'm sure you're pumped. Your car looked and sounded awesome driving next to you on the way home from Marauderville III.

The way I have been running this car lately, that pulley would have given up the ghost by now for sure. ;)

For those wondering... several weeks ago, I had an idler pulley start to make an odd noise. I removed it to find the the bearing was shot. Once again Jerry and the Trilogy crew were there with a new one immediately!
