Superchargers/turbos top speed?

It has been posted that a Trilogy powered Marauder was clocked @ 185 mph top speed.
Has anyone tried this with a Vortec or a Procharger?Or a turbo for that matter?
Were you able to achive redline in high gear?

Most people don't have a good location, especially a relatively safe one, to test that kind of speed.

Isn't top speed dependent on gearing than power? Given you have enough room to get there.:D

Actually, you need both. I won't get as technical as I could. Basically, the gearing helps you get to the higher speed before redline or while still in the power range. The power is needed to push past the wind and weight of the vehicle as that speed with that gearing.

I'm sure that someone esle can put it more accurately than I. :)
