Moroso this Friday 12/02

Hey guys, I know there might be a gathering of you at the Tower Shoppes on Friday, but Im with Shakes, lets do a Moroso night on Friday. I traded shifts with another guy at work and got Friday off. The Tower Shppes meet is cool if you all want to go, but since this isnt an already scheduled third Friday event, lets change it up a little and strut our stuff at the track. Its only 15$ and we will definately get 6 or more runs in.....against eachother even! With this cold front moving in, temps will be optimal. Theres a great bar and grill that has killer burgers close by for after. What do you say.......track opens at 5 or 6 and goes til 11pm. temps should be around 58. whos in?

I've never ran my car period so yes I would love to come but I've never been up there so I need some help with directions and such and where do we meet when we get there? I'll definitely come if possible. I get out of work at 5 PM on Friday. You going to be there at night around 6/ 6:30? That's probably when I'll be able to make it over. Do they take credit card btw for the track fee? Thanks in advance.

Turnpike to exit 109, PGA Boulevard, head west until the road ends. Make a right (North) onto 710 (correct me if I'm wrong) direction IndianTown, go until the road narrows to one lane, the Moroso entrance is about 200yds past that point on the right.

There are a couple of gas stations right before, so if you run it down low, no worries for afterwards getting home.

Entrance fees are cash as far as I know. Follow the crowd through to Tech, and then staging lanes.

Okay, thanks for the heads up Shakes. I'll make sure to hit my ATM account before comming. So what time do we meet up and what not? I actually think I get out of work at 4:00 so I may be able to make it for 5:30/ 6:00... What section of the parking lot should we all meet up at? Where would I know to find you? I have met Marc before so I should recognize him. Just look for a guy that looks kind of like the actor Topher Grace. Anyone else want to come?

Just go and look for the Black Marauder(s), there will only be two, max three of us. I'll probably get there around 6pm, Marc will most likely be there as they open, he lives aroudn the corner from there.

Dammit!!!! I cant go! I got the night off and everything, but I cant find any place to tune my new chip for me by tomarrow! My A/F if way too lean and its not safe for racing. I guess Im just going to go to the Tower Shoppes. Sorry to start the thread and then cancel, but I cant help it...have fun!

Yeah, it must suck being fast!! I don't have a reply to your comment because I really don't know how fast my Marauder really is. Some tracks require it under certain 1/4 mile times, I just want it to be as safe as possible.

Ouch... That's harsh! Most tracks require that if your car runs under 14.00 that your car requires a driveshaft safety loop. Good thing they only cost $55. You can get one easily from adtr.net! Just go to www.adtr.net (http://www.adtr.net) click on drive train and it is right there under Metco Motorsports.

Yeah, I don't know what the times required for a loop are, but you will be damn fast and you are absolutley right in being safe!
