Hello,

Can anyone confirm if the $500 AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) rebate mentioned in the "Current Mercury Marauder Incentives" thread found at http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2297 currently applies to the Mercury Marauder? In other words, I am not certain if this rebate applies to only vehicles produced under the "Ford" nameplate or if a Mercury Marauder - as a product of the Ford Motor Company - would indeed be eligible. The information I found at the AQHA website (http://search.aqha.com/cgi-bin/MsmGo.exe?grab_id=68071080&EXTRA_ARG=&host_id=1&page_id=273&query=ford&hiword=FORD+) would appear to state the former while I am (obviously) hoping for the latter!

Thank you!

I would say contacting your dealer would be your best bet here. The way it looks, I wouldn't think the Marauder would be included. Although Ford owns Mercury, Mercury doesn't have to necessarily follow Ford's incentives, even though they do most of the time with APR rates. Also note, it says Special Edition vehicles are not included, so if your dealer REALLY wanted to be an :censor: about it, he could claim the Marauder a SE vehicle.

Yo, It worked for me. Maybe as ammunition, I showed them in black & white. I stated that I should be eligible, he got frustrated & said, "If you can't get it , I'll give it to you! (another $500 off).

I hate playin this game.
