NEW AND IMPROVED POLL THREAD. :D

Located at 'The Avenue' in the White Marsh Mall. The same place where the last Sept. Meet was. Thanks to CheeseheadBob for making this possible and for arranging a different parking place so the rent-a-cops will not be able to harass us this time.

I would like to have everybody try to meet in the lot pictured at the bottom-center of this sat/trans. I will get to the lot early and try and hold off the hordes so we can get at least 10-12 spots. I am going to park near the kidney shaped pond. All in favor say AYE!

Hey Joe, what you know? I spoke with the management at the Avenue and since we are going to be spending money at an Avenue business, we should have no problem with the rent-a-work-release-cops. So says the "management". I'll take point on this one and with some legit LEO's in our party, I think we should be OK.

That would be cool! I plan on being at the lot around 1130. Please bring the Trabbi so we can light it on fire after lunch to keep us warm in the December chill. I've seen these things burn, and man do they go up fast. Pressed fiber board and highly flamable resins burn at about 3500 degrees(just a guess) and it is fun to watch. I've got some great stories to tell about the E. Germans pouring into Europe after the wall came down and trying to keep up with the Western cars on the Autobahn and in the Alps. Get a couple of Red Brick IPA's in me and I may even tell you some secrets!

Charlie, we are still 10 days out and according to the always accurate Weather Channel web site, Sunday Dec 11 is supposed to be sunny and cool.
Weather channel predicts snow. And they seen real sure of themselves too. A real mess is going to show up at to the CAM meet.

If there is bad weather, I still plan to go. I just will not be driving the Marauder.

What I am driving is still subject to change. Lisa wants a new or "different" car. So we may bring the van to Carmax and try to turn it into something else.

Or I may bring the truck. So far the weather looks good.

Just curious .... What is the formal CAM penalty for showing up at a CAM meet with a dirty, filthy Marauder? :eek: As much as I hate to say it ... my Blue MM is currently sporting its worst coat of dirt and grime since I bought it. The weather ain't cooperating at all down here in Virginny and it looks like we are getting more sleet and snow tonite into tomorrow. Sure hope Saturday is decent .... 'cause I am starting to get a tad embarrassed. :o But I still just love driving it !!! :rofl:

Sorry Guys. I can't make it. Me and my Marauder have just made a nice trip to Ft Myers, FL then to Dayton, OH then back to St Marys, County. Killed the warranty in the process. I'm out to the west coast on Monday for the week. I need to spend a weekend home. Hope to see you guys next year.

As usual, the S.O.B. and I had a great time at the CAM meet. We had a very good turnout despite the threatening weather during the week and into Sunday afternoon. Welcome :welcome: to the new members who decided to join us for the final gathering of the year ... "spiders" and Stacey.

Those that left a little early to avoid the late afternoon chill missed a very nice smoke show exiting the lot. :D

After a misplaced turn off of HoneyGo Boulevard, a mini-convoy of Marauders (Cheeseheadbob, Bluerauder and Big House) headed back onto I-95 toward the Baltimore Beltway. It was fun to watch the traffic slide right as the convoy rolled on by in the left lane. :rofl:

Bob peeled off to head west on the Beltway and departed with a wave and a thumbsup. Big House chased me through the tunnel (where I gave him a little exhaust music) and down almost to DC. We split paths at the junction of Route 50 and the Capitol Beltway ....... and again with a wave, we were on our separate ways. Was home before 6 PM. Great food, friends and a terrific time as usual. :up:

Wow I'm sorry I missed it yesterday, I didn't even get a chance to post I wasn't going to make it. The whole weekend ended up being a tentative thing for me, I ended up getting caught up in other things and by the time I was free it was too late to make it so I just took a breather that evening.

Glad to hear it was a success!

Looking forward to January now!
