Has anyone had a clicking noise under their driver's seat?...
sounds like a broken switch...
when I run over a small bump that causes me to move up and down in the seat I get this clicking sound and a feeling in my B*tt that something is moving slightly.
It must have something to do with the seatbelt or air bag actuator...?
I'm going to take it in, but was just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience....If you enjoyed the experience I really don't want to hear from you...:D
Thanks,

You don't say where you live. Hopefully it's not a rattlesnake, 'cause those pesky critters make clicking sounds, when disturbed.
Actually It's the first time I've heard of this.
Isn't there a switch that senses weight on the seat, and actuates all sorts of electronic gizmos? I'm guessing you weigh more than 16 lbs, or whatever. :dunno:

Here too! I though I was going crazy. Every hard bump and there is a clunk/click feel in the seat bottom. I felt around but couldn't find anything. Could be a seat sensor switch.
You have heated seats?
Yeppers, just started that a few weeks ago. I have heated seats.

I felt that in a GMQ LSE 2002 no seat heaters (yet).
Got to think, it is a broken spring.

But I'm not a heavy weight!

Niether was the person that owned the GMQ.

I agree. I know there is a weight switch for the seat belt/airbag safety system. I think I read somewhere it takes 42 lbs to actuate it. maybe it's that switch?

I'm a light weight guy...165#s...
The seat is not a heated seat...
But, I agree with y'all ..I think it's a switch of sorts that lets the system know someone is in the seat...
Maybe I'll get her in next week and I'll let y'all know what we find out....
Thanks for you input.....:D
