Front plate mount

Now that I live in AZ I really don't need a front plate nor do I need the plate mount, has anyone tried removing the front plate mount yet?
Also my new AZ plate is "ITSBLWN"

You will be left with 4 small holes in the bumper cover. You may be able to find some small snap plugs to fill them at Ace Hardware.

Go to a body shop and put in some plastic body rivets

I guess the plastic rivets that are in there now must get drilled out?

The body shop I went to scared the crap out of me. He cut the plate holder frame bent the remaining plastic peices over and cup the aluminum attachment pins off with a pair of dykes. Not a mark on the bumper cover. I had only 2 rivets in my plate holder. Might have made it easier to remove. He slapped a couple of bumper plugs in the holes and did not charge me. Some days are GOLDEN. Slipped him a 10 as a tip. He refused but I talked him into taking it.:) The whole thing took 5 minutes, tops. I put a little touch up paint in the plug tops, good as new. Looks great under Zacks Chrome on DTR grill and over Defyant's lower grill mod. Thanks Zack and Charlie! Dennis:beer:

My front plate holder was just screwed to the bumper cover with four screws. I removed it once to find four splintery ugly holes. I'll have those fixed when I get the other minor front bumper damage fixed.

Mine had a front plate bracket on it when I got it. Body shop removed it and repaired/painted the bumper. You'd never know it now.
