How come your car comes from the factory without swirl marks?

Yet when the body shop repaints parts of my car I have swirl marks? WHY???
I hate swirl marks!

Huh?! They must have washed it with a dirty towel! Or buffed it?

The best part about being in Texas....................I can't see the swirl marks from 3000 miles away!!

Because not many people can paint like the factory, even though there are many complaints on this site. The factory is starting with new metal that has never been painted and the conditions are probably better at the factory. Remember at the factory the cars are painted by robots and sprayed by hand at body shops. IMHO John

They probably haven't buffed it with a fine enough polish

Tell them to fix it or pay someone who can. Got mine back from the dealer after a free polish, buff, and hand wax. Perfect, like a coat of glass on the car, no swirls, streaks, or spots. The guy they use is a vendor, not an employee of the dealer. He is the black car god.
