Well......

My "Around Town" fuel mileage has suddenly dropped from 19+ MPG to about 17 MPG??? I guess it has to do with the "FIT/ProCharger Connection" and the extra-super-responsive "Go Pedal"!!!:bows:

Oh Well.....I didn't buy the car for the fuel economy anyway!!:shake:

It amazes me that with this kind of power in a 4400# car.....The fuel economy is still better than the 1970 VW bug I had!!:bows:

Ain't technology GREAT!!!

Don't know about S.C. but here in Michigan we have what is called a winter blend. You would need to check that out.

I don't have a lead foot, but there must be a magnet under the peddle pulling it to the floor. After 150-160 miles, I go through 10 gal. of gas.

I'm resonably sure it has to do with the ProCharger and the great power it is making!!!  :bows:

I have to go to Spartanburg, SC next week and will see what she does on the highway only??

Right about now they added antifreeze agents to most of the gas. I instantly noticed once I burened up my texas tank of gas and refilled. That and idlening to get warm/defrost kills gas as well. But yeah...my gas mileage delema is from my winter boots being heavier and thats my story...

I keep track of mileage on all my vehicles. Enclosed is a chart reflecting my MM monthly averages, seems like my best month for MPG is May.

I can't say I've seen an impact with any winter blend we use up here. But then again I don't spend a lot of time at WOT with my family in the car... not a lot of time at all! So maybe the greatest impact on mpg is for those who tend to exercise the go pedal a bit more than average?

As a side note, I actually see an INCREASE in fuel mileage in winter driving, when I swap out the stock BFGs for the winter Michelins. I also see a huge decrease in road noise... which makes sense with the mileage increase, since noise is released energy anyway.

..heres a recommendation for ya.............going up keep it on cruise and coming back don't , just use your foot. Fill up after each and one trip should give you two results......just a thought .....Tom

Checked the mileage several times this week and it ranged from 21.3 to 21.96 at 75-80 MPH....Not bad since it is now pulling the blower!!

Best ever before was 26+ and average was 23 or so!!;)

I'm getting 18.5 on my 6 and it's a 4cyl if it makes you feel better.

When ever anyone asks me what my milage is I just look at them with a semi perturbed expression and say, "It's a Marauder." :)

That pretty much sums up my thinking about mileage. :)

Best,

Dan

LOL yeah I sometimes do that too "dude at 300 hp mpg is out the window cause you forever know that power is there when you need it"
