Well its a very very cold day...i was going over an interstate bridge when my car took a nice jump to the right...after finally getting accrost the mississippi i pulled off and my right tire was flat....looked at the incar temp and it says 2 degrees...so i change the tire and im freezing because i was just working out so im wet from sweat, this just made it worse for me lol. Well got back in and the first thing on the radio i hear is the weather, there saying its -1 out. ALWAYS A JOY, had the car for a month, should i goto the dealer? Only been a month since i have bought the car.

Go to the dealer for the flat, or difference between your exterior temp and the radio station's?

Heck, they may actually do something for ya, give them a call. Maybe they'll fix it or plug it just out of coutesy since you just got it?

Got AAA?

Thats who I'd call during zero degrees w/ a flat! I pay them, so I'd use them.

for the tire of course, the temp thing was just because the temp. is falling. No AAA, just me freezin my butt off.

I love it....65 todays in sunny AZ, when I say no clouds I mean NO CLOUDS!,
Single digit humidity and 65 is a little on the cold side here. Leaving NJ was one of the best things I ever did.

You are a true man indeed...a lesser man would have called for a tow.

I don't own a cell phone. But I would have flagged down a motorist and begged a call....:shake:

Wait ... a ... minute ... I wouldn't be driving my MM in the snow.:baaa:

GreBone...Listen up, dude. No need to go to your dealer. Seek out a repair facility like Just Tires, or, Discount Tires, even a Sears Auto Center, or, NTB (National Tire and Battery).

Once you get there, have them inspect it, and if it's a puncture not on the crown of the tread where it becomes sidewall, it can be plugged for under 10 bucks. I'm not a fan of plugs, but they serve their purpose. I prefer to patch from the inside, and replace when I can afford it. But, punctures on the crown do not repair well. Until then, this is not the weather to be short a tire on the pavement. You didn't mention a full size spare, or, donut, but neither is better than the original.

BTW, it is slightly possible that there isn't a puncture at all. Steel belted radials like ours have sidewalls that are quite strong. It could be just low on tire pressure before the weather changed, like 20 some PSI, and once the weather changed so suddenly (as it has), the sidewalls just gave up and the tire went flat. It's happened to me.

As long as you didn't drive on the tire long enough to wreck it, there may be nothing wrong with it at all, but a loss of PSI. This is why you need to have it inspected by tire specialists, and make them show you any puncture they find.

Good luck, keep us posted?
