I have been beating bushes for every mod I can find for our cars and I think I have found an interesting alternative.

Macs process of stages has served as a catalist in my thinking and set me on a mission to formulate a sane and reasonable process of Modifications.
3 or more "Stages" of building blocks can be put together in a logical order and "stacked" one the other that could any level to anyones needs goals.

I have had several conversations with a few individuals who are now involoved in development work on this car and have some "Kit's" already to go. these kits seem to me to be a good starting point.
At this moment I am waiting to receive more complete information and pricing, until I have these I won't detail this any further.

Mac, a question for you. Not wanting to pry to much but would you be adverse to telling us this : for the performance level your at, how much have you spent? if you don't to put that in print or a PM, well I understand.

My point was to compare what you have spent with what one might spend on an alternative. I'm guessing something short of $2500.00 (Parts) which would be a bargin for your result!
I know you have posted your results in your sig. but I don't recall them right off but I have seen results (on paper) of one kit that would produce 300HP and 386 lbs of twist at the wheels for about $3600.00 (parts) and would be the first building block for a future Blower!

Now if any one has slightest bit of interest I will be glad to upload the stages layout as soon as Im finished, a week or so should do it.

I'm extremely interested...especially if you can outline some stages that are building blocks for a blower...i don't want to mod my car and then have to peel everything off or change out too much when a real blower kit becomes available.

I think this is a great idea, Bill, and it does seem to round out my own personal Project MM too. Collecting the 411 has been a lot of fun for me, but to have that 411 come to really mean something to another MM owner, is a treat all it's own.

I'm sure I feel much like Mensrea feels, when he invites all MM owners to share in his MM. I've done this myself at our local meets, and I know why he makes the offer. It's not a self-serving gesture when another MM owner learns something from your labor.

I'm more than happy to share a break down of the progress and costs of my mods with y'all, but I don't want to just throw it all out here at this moment. Give me a day or two to shape a presentation, and to check with my suppliers about the actual costs of parts. I never solicited any "break" when buying parts, but once I explained what I was doing and why, I may have been shown some financial "courtesty," and I need to protect that support.

When I started on my MM project, I set a few guidelines for myself to keep things in check, however, getting the most "bang" from bolt-ons was one of my rules, and how many "bucks" was another rule to respect. Neither did I jump at every option available, and it all shakes down to what you get, for how much.

I bucked against some popular beliefs and trains of thought about building a "heavy car" with a small block heart. I came to challenge some long held and trusted beliefs about aftermarket products, and I got some heat over it. But, not that much heat over the life of the project. Always in the back of my mind, was the "cut off" point, how far will I get. The only factor keeping me from a supercharger is money, and every step I took, was with respect for that potential. Supercharging was always the goal, and never ruled out. I'd like to add that the project isn't closed yet, but it seems 80% accomplished at this time.

Y'all will hear from me soon on this, and thank you, Bill. I am excited to hear about more HP and TQ numbers I haven't seen yet, so, I expect to get something out of this myself.

Give me the weekend to work on this? I'm still on active alert, 12 hour days in the Command Post here, but I can work this off-line too. I can't post here often, but I have my e-mail. If I can send the report to you, Bill, could you post it for me? Okay with y'all?

Got to run, later, be safe.

Yes sir that would be outstanding, I think we will have something rather exciting to present when all is said and done.

Thanks Mac.

Thats why I'm alittle hesitant:depress: in doing any MOD's now because if something would come up that I really want :D(supercharger) and I already have all the other upgrades than I wouldn't want to have to change anything and lose out financially. :( I'm interested.;)
