I just had a call from Maury.(about 7:00 PM) He is in Baylor Hospital in Grapevine recovering from an emergency Gall Bladder Surgery! He said he doubled over with pain Tuesday night about 11:30. At first they couldn't figure out what the problem was. Finally today they concluded that his gall bladder needed to be removed. Micro surgery is a wonderful thing. He said he is fine and will possibly be going home tomorrow.
He asked me to tell everyone he is ok but it looks like he won't be able to attend the Cougar club/ MM club Christmas Party on Saturday.:depress:
I am sure he will appreciate everyones thoughts and prayers.

Man, Barry! When Maury was shouting for Two Hawks & Rollin'Thunder, I thought he was calling out the muscle to come up here and get us, because you called them Texas guys, a bunch of pu$sies.
(oh, yeah, that was me, wasn't it)
What a relief, it's only because he's not going to the Cougar doo
Boy, we were lucky that time huh?
Sorry, Maury, I didn't mean to make your side hurt, laughing.

:banana2: Yep, I'm home ---using my new DellXPS 400 (Thanks to Ginny :-) )and feel ing better than I have felt in months. I had what the surgeon described as "a very hot gall baldder"--my very first problem ???) The surgery was done on Wed afternoon and I came home last nite at 8 PM--just too doped up to go on net. Today , I am fine---no pain, no after effects---a little sore and am feeling better by the hour--sooo, next Wednesday, I'll see if I can still smoke 'em.
Ginny and I wish to thank all of you great folks for the prayers and kind thoughts---really makes old folks feel good . I treasure the times I have been able to spend with you all and am eagerly looking forward to seeing you at MV IV (4). Ginny is signalling that lunch is ready--so better go----I love you Folks, Maury and Ginny
