Well, another year bites the dust, and a fresh, new one is just around the corner. I wish that last year I knew what I know now...Id have a faster Marauder. It wasnt until last June I learned about this site. Since then my eyes have been opened to the Marauder world. I have gotten so much out of this site. Not only knowledge, but great friends as well. Its amazing how different my life would be If I bought a Mustang or an Infinity G35. I wouldnt change a thing.
So next year I have a long list of projects that I want to do with my MM. Lets call them marauder resolutions. Here they are.
1. Have the fastest N/A MM in the USA before I put a blower on.
2. Put a blower on
3. Buy, build, or somehow obtain a garage for her.
4. Buy a 89-93 5.0 Mustang for a daily driver to save miles on my MM.
5. Not to put more than 15k on her this year.
What about the rest of yall? Remember, these are Marauder only resolutions. Keep "not going to the boobie bar" and stuff like that for another thread.

I just want my MM to get through the year without getting totalled by another idiot driver or mother nature. I'm still unsure about what mods to do because of my budget.
Get 'r done. (blown)
New Paint.
Enjoy the crap out her.

Well...the Marauder is done with a few minor exceptions...
Methanol injection system to squeeeeze a few more RWHP and Torque out.
Baer Brakes, Metco control arms, Metco Watts Link, Metco Drive Shaft loop are all sitting in the trunk awaiting install at Lids.
With the addition of the trailer, I can go to more Marauder events and drag racing events and keep the miles down.
The Marauder is already an ashpalt smoking beast, hard to improve on perfection. She will be easily into the mid to low 11's, which is good enough for me. I dont mind being behind folks like Marty, Jerry, and Mike Z, in fact, thats some great company to be in.
On the other hand, Project Mustang begins very soon. It wont be long until the '06 Mustang GT is eating supercharged Marauders for breakfast! Since I know how much everyone here LOVES the Mustang, I will be sure to keep you all up to date on her transformation.
The Mach 1 will be getting a few toys, but those will depend on how the '06 is coming along.

Throw my Hat in the Fastest N/A Marauder Race
-PI 3000 stall TC installed
-Full Headers and Exhaust installed
-Tires
-Full upper and lower intake Port and Polish including throttle body
-Higher Gear Ratio install, Possibly a 4.30 or 4.56
-Addco Front and Rear Sway Bars
-TIRES!!!
-Race fuel tune
-Electric Water pump
-Did I mention TIRES???
I know next year ill look back at this list and be like WTF was I thinking with this extra 4k of parts and labor, But who keeps their resolutions anyway?? :(
The TC, sway bars, tires, and the headers will probably be the only new additions by this time next year :burnout:
But a Man Can dream...

My personal New Year's resolution for 2006, is to finally be able to afford and to get the Trilogy supercharger installed on my Marauder! I'm working on some good ideas of how to finance this for next year. The idea of my MM and 450 HP is really exciting. I can visualize many stop derby races once I get the SC installed. It'll just be so cooool! I didn't buy this car with the idea of never upgrading its performance. But, coming up with $ 8000 to $ 9000 for one performance upgrade is a tough nut to crack, even though the SC is the absolute best upgrade.

Install new motor (MMR just called and the shortblock is done!)
Install the drive shaft loop sitting in the garage.
Back-half, mini-tub the rear and narrow the axle so I can get some wide rims & tires.
Naake suspension kit.
Electric locker for new narrowed axle.
Claude's line lock kit.
New hood.
Flame paint job.
But first get the engine together so I can drive it!
