Good info Mac. Is the most expensive 2003 Lidio's? If so it is with out a doubt the best buy of the entire 190 Marauders. :bows: Dennis

I think there's another article where he says he wanted to put 4.10's on it from the factory. I find stuff like that as interesting.

Thanks for the link. I enjoyed that.

Hey Mods, can that link be posted in the FAQ section? It is a good history lesson there.

I enjoyed the interview too.
Kinda sad to read of all the future plans (including the projected sales figures) that didn't work out.
Oh well, I got mine, and I'm keepin' it!

Nobody to blame but themselves. Crappy marketing, crappy initial pricing, total abandonment of the project barely a year into the model run, too many corners cut on parts and assembly quality...

I think that if the marketers and engineers refocused their efforts by:
-getting Ford Racing and other major vendors involved in pre-release design for aftermkt parts
-showed more of the history behind the car... and what it's doing now (see links below)
-reinforced it's luxury and power
-someone could simply interview the FHP's success with the car & freelance an article, submit it to major auto mags and get the ball rolling

They could potentially re-release it now that the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger have come out since then.
I mean come on, the price became so reasonable in the end that HiPo's started buying them:

Maybe we need to get some of Florida's finest interviewed on our site. I think that would make for a great read.

... and when did I suddenly become a senior member? I'm 25- you all are way more over the hill than I am. I'm still climbing up it:D

One more thing: What was the final production count on MM's? I've always been curious to know that one.
