3rd Annual SSM Picnic Date

Last night at the meet I spoke with several members regarding the date to hold our annual picnic. I was aiming for Jan. 15th ( Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday ) weekend. Some of the members said they would be out of town during that time. It would be nice to have as many members as possible this year, so I want to know how Feb 19 sounds to you all. Its on presidents day weekend. It would be on a sunday. Let me know if there is any problems with this date in case we have to change it.

Im just doing what I can to get everyone together and have a good time. Last night you did it and now its my turn. I know that I said I wouldnt arrange it next year but, you know what? its all worth it once everyone shows up and they have a good time. Thank you all for offering to help. As of right now I just want to see if the date is ok with all of you. Once the date and location is final then I will post more regarding the actual picnic and what we will be having. Once that is posted then we can talk about what we will all be bringing to the picnic.:beer:

Count me in on the picnic plans. Also, as per the suggestion I was given by Ghost03, I will be donating a picture I printed up, to be raffled off at the picnic. It's the same one I brought to the last monthly meeting, but without the headstrike(smudge in corner). It's slightly large (60" x 36")

So hopefully any money this can generate can help with the picnic exspenses.

Ed. D There is no problem with that at all. For those of you who didnt attend the monthly meet or did but didnt see the picture, its big and beautiful......It would look good anywhere you put it ( office, Garage ). Once you see it in person you will want one trust me. Thanks for donating it to the raffel i really appreciate it. If there is anyone else who would like to donate anything to the raffel just PM me thanks in advance.
