New here..just picked up a 2003 w 28K, and 4.10's this car rocks!!
I'm 42, my dad is 67 and has the same car only his has alot more mods from Dennis R.., I drove his a few days last month while in Fla and decided I had to have one..
So far dennis sent me 180 stat, denso plugs and tuner.. I've always been a GM man.. Got an 87 Vette w/ 383 stroker (400hp) headers no cats, and racing tranny (sick fast) also had a 94 Impala SS w 3.73 rear, High Stall tq cvt, and supercharger (ran 12's), hi flow cats , flowmasters..car ran fast but even after front and rear sways and 3 dif sets of shocks tyhe ride still sucked..
The marauder has a great suspension, man the ride is pretty damn good, pobly do sway bars but thas it for suspension mods..
So I'm looking at all the mods i can choose on this one!!!
First question is exaust. I have always been a flowmaster man, love that sound.but the feedback so far has been that they drone ..I was thinking delta flow 50's, and hi flow cats.. but Dennis mentioned the MotorSport Blow Through, they may be interesting..anybody using em??
I can't find info on em anywhere..can ya piont me in the rigth direction??\
Thx, looking forward spending some time here, learning alot and spending some $$:D

Talk to Defyant.

I think he has the Kooks Long Tube header setup,
using the FRPP Dual Mode Mufflers.

Oh...

He is also running with a Trilogy SC...

That is correct.

Most Mufflers wont drone until you change the tailpipes to res-delete.

BTW, If you have 4.10's installed in your MM already, What type of tuner are you using to calibrate the speedo and shift schedule??

Welcome. Enjoy the site and your new ride. Sound is such a personal thing it is hard to make a judgement without spending time with a Marauder that is similarlily set up. There have been a lot of posts in this regard. A number of members list their mods and all, to my knowledge; love to share info and ideas. Find a member who lives near you or would attend a meet in your area. That member would be happy to help you evaluate that set up and the others there would give you some other choices to consider.

I am running Flomaster 40's now on an otherwise stock exhaust system with a S/C and am looking for a little better breathing and less noise. My car is strictly a street and travel car that will run fun drags at meets. So, my priorities are leading me to the Cobra exhaust and stock mufflers installed this coming week. Probably not the choice of a lot of the members but I hope perfect for me. I will let you know. Do the exhaust search. Dennis:beer:

According to the guy I bought it from it has Rienhart programming, but he said he didn't have the tuner, so I don't know what SW is in it if any..I have a tuner from Dennis comming in on monday and that will solve the issue..but as it is the shift points seem right and car runs real good so there must be some type of sw in it..speedo also seems to be right..but I have only had it since thursday so didn't have time to test it yet..no sense anyway cause I got the tuner comming and will need it for future mods anyway.

Where are you from? Florida? I suggest hitting the next meet. You'll see what everyone has done to their cars and some folks are nice enough to toss the keys if you give off the right vibe. Talking to these members face to face and getting a real Seat O' The Pants feel is better than any search, and if you're in florida, you're in luck as they are the largest group of Marauder owners (IIRC..)

Enjoy!

salter....

If you have a custom tune in your car...not a chip...the original tuner has your "Stock Tune" in it and you may need it to proceed with a new tune??

You better check woth Dennis before you install the new tune or better yet have Dennis do it himself!!

Welcome and Good Luck!!:D

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the site.

Where is your dad reside? I did recall a demo'ed MM that had the x-pipe and 4.10s already in the car when they sold it in Pompano Beach.

Hey there. I have the Kooks headers, high flow cats, x-pipe, Ford duel mode mufflers and res. delete tips.

I am very happy with this set up. There is a mild drone at about 2K rpm, especially when the car is cold. After the temps come up, it is bearly noticable.

I had Flowmasters on my ole Cobra. Drone! :puke:

I had Magnaflows on the MM before the DM mufflers. They sounded great, but the drone was to much in side the car with the family.

Watch the N/E forum for the N/E and CAM meets, I frequent both. Your more then welcome to go for a ride.
