When some of the guys on CVN wanted black chrome wheels a few years ago, it basically looked like dirty chrome wheels.

I'd stick with the nice flashy chrome wheels as-is.

The black chrome doesnt look like dirty chrome. Every see black chrome in person? I have, my Mach 1 has black chrome rims and they look great. Smoky but clean and sharp looking. Rider, can you use these photochopped on a Marauder?

I'm thinking the same thing..

A brighter car needs brighter wheels, a dark car could pass with dark wheels... So I don't really like the look on the silver either. Good, it's cheaper this way :D

Agreed, after seeing G-Man's I knew someday I will be doing that. It's a shame FMC didn't do it for us. Polished aluminum has it's place and can be cool, but a real nice chrome job on our wheels is amazing.

Big Mistake! Chrome plating is heavy. Thats gonna tack on at least .2 at the track.

You are right about that Darryl! But you've got to decide...are you gonna be a lover...or a fighter?! Do you want to get looked at....or smoke anything on wheels?! Personally, I am spoiled and I want both! To get my ride looked at with lust and envy while I'm smoking whatever lines up next to me, foreign or domestic....

damn! I saw an 04 black mustang w/ nice shiny new blk chromes at a small car show in town recently. I might call the shop who does it but I can't find any black on blacks on the web (uhh... maybe I should edit that... nah).

I'd say on a black mm it might look good but it's kinda a judgement call depending on the design of the wheel too. I wouldn't say every wheel out there looks good w/ black chrome.

The mustang had kind of a 5star look w/ a bullet center. For some reason I thought black chrome looked less cheesy after I saw that.
