Ho Ho Ho! Santa (Dennis) Delivered!

Just got a pair the the most beautiful Fox Lake Racing heads yesterday via FedEx (White Sleigh?) and words do not describe them. Pictures would if I had remembered to snap a couple before posting. haha.

I ordered the rear engine cooling mod too and Dennis was kind enough to pre-install the adapters into the heads before shipping. No question on how this hooks up now. ;)

The ProGuard came in too and I have a long list of mods to make as soon as it is running under its own power again.

Thanks Dennis!

Wick cool John:P Man, the competition around here is really going to heat up with the goodies going on with our engines. It is going to be an interesting 2006 to say the least.

Just bought a complete 04 Marauder engine and it will be shipped this week to my tuner and mechanic. My engine build is about to begin and should be in the car by the spring ;). Have to talk to you about those Fox Lake heads.

Sweet. Have you received the rest of the parts? And did you find a machine shop to do the assembly or are you getting an assembled short block (can't remember for sure your plans)?

I'm not going to be going for King of the Horsepower hill. I just want an indestructable 500rwhp system I can beat like a rented mule and not come undone.

MMR built the shortblock and I'm sending them the heads and some more parts to finish it into a longblock. I just need to get the rest of the parts off the front of my block over the Christmas - New Years break. Timing chains, tensioners etc.. I'll let them time the heads and engine so I don't have to.

I've also decided to have the front cover, valve covers, upper and lower intake and blower tubes powdercoated while MMR is finishing up the long block assembly. Color to be determined...

Maybe zebra stripes...

The good news is that there is a light at the end of this tunnel.

Cheers!

John

Dibs on first guest ride!

Let's see who gets there first.... ;) I would road trip over for a ride in the beast when it is done!!!! Especaily since I didn't get a ride in it before the motor let go.

Sure. I'll race ya there.

Of course, I'm only about 5 miles away from J's house. . .

I'll let everyone know the weekend I plan on doing the R&R and whoever helps the most gets the first ride. If you let me sit in a lawn chair, I might even let you drive!

Now, anyone have a spare rear axle so I can send it in to get narrowed?

Cheers!

John

I guess you would win in that case...:D

I am up for helping. Wouldn't mind learning a little more hands on with these cars.
